These terms explain how to use Where is my matcha? and contribute to its community. They cover the features available to you; describing an account feature here does not mean registration is currently open.

Scope of Service
Where is my matcha? is a catalog of Japanese matcha and first-hand tasting reviews. Catalog facts, maker statements, editorial translations and member opinions are identified separately. The catalog is not a shop, and a product listing is not an offer to sell it.
Account Responsibilities
When account features are available, use an email address you control and keep passwords and sign-in links private. Do not impersonate another person or use someone else’s account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access; never send us your password or verification code.
Review Requirements
Review matcha you have tasted yourself. There is one editable review per member per product. Disclose gifts, samples and work with a brand. Honest criticism and low ratings are welcome; a positive review is not required.
New and edited reviews wait for moderation. Only approved reviews contribute to the displayed average. Do not post spam, fabricated experiences, harassment, private information about others or content you do not have the right to share. Do not use extra accounts or repeated reviews to manipulate ratings or badges.
Submitted Content and Intellectual Property
You keep ownership of the content you submit. By submitting it, you give Where is my matcha? non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce, format and display it as needed to operate the catalog and community, including moderation and backups. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize selling your content to others or using it in unrelated advertising.
Submit only content you created or have permission to share. Product names, trademarks, source material and images belong to their respective rights holders; a link or credit does not by itself grant permission to reuse them. For removal requests, contact us. Storage, deletion and backup handling follow the privacy policy.
Moderation and Prohibited Conduct
We may withhold or hide content that breaks these rules, and restrict account access where needed to address abuse or protect the service. You can ask us to review a moderation decision at the contact address below, with a link and relevant context. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, overload the service or interfere with other members.
Catalog Information and Service Availability
Products, packaging and maker information can change, and tasting notes are personal opinions. Check the linked sources and current maker or package information before relying on a detail. If you find an error, use the product report link or contact us. Links to other websites lead to services with their own terms and privacy practices.
We may update information or pause features for maintenance or safety. These terms do not exclude or limit any rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Amendments to These Terms
We will publish revised terms on this page with an updated document version. Changes apply going forward and do not remove rights that have already arisen. We will call attention on the site to material changes before applying them.
