Shohokuen’s general usucha guide, rather than instructions for this named blend: warm a bowl with hot water and empty it; add about two chashaku scoops of matcha, then 80ml of water at about 80°C. Loosen clumps with a bamboo whisk, then whisk quickly back and forth until fine foam forms. The guide does not give a gram equivalent for the two scoops.

Shohokuen also publishes a general iced matcha-and-milk recipe, without naming this blend: shake about 1.8g of matcha with about 15ml of water until mixed, then add 100–180ml of milk and shake a few more times. Mix the matcha with water before adding milk. For shaker recipes, the producer cautions against hot water or carbonated water and says to secure the shaker parts firmly.
